Connecting Classrooms to the Community Through Service-Learning

How can you make learning authentic and help students connect to their community? By incorporating service-learning projects into curriculum topics already being taught, students become more engaged and learn how they can problem-solve and make a difference in their community, whether it is locally or global. This session explores various ways in which service-learning can be easily integrated into classrooms.
