Inquiry and the New Connecticut Social Studies Frameworks

Abstract: During this session participants will be able to explore critical elements of the new Connecticut social studies frameworks. Connections to the national C3 social studies framework will be discussed in detail. Inquiry instruction is at the heart of these new frameworks; participants will analyze and then create inquiry activities suitable to the grade level that they teach.
