The Economic Consequences of Racial Discrimination

Use an “Economy Way of Reasoning” to assess the intended and unintended costs of discrimination towards African-Americans and Hispanics. Using two economic lessons and the C3’s Inquiry Design Model (IDM), participants create “compelling” questions, using featured resources, and discuss formative and summative assessments models which are an integral part of this model. Introduce critical thinking and problem skills using an “economic lens” when using the Inquiry Model.
