- Boston Tea Party Ship Museum This site tells the story of the Boston Tea Party in such a way that is engaging to students of U.S. history. Guests to the museum learn about Boston's resistance to "taxation without representation" during the early revolutionary period, and how this led to the outbreak of the American Revolution at the battle of Lexington-Concord. Students not only visit the museum, but participate in a meeting with Samuel Adams, storm down to Griffin's Wharf to destroy the tea aboard an accurate eighteenth century replica ship, and finally learn the consequences of their actions that led up to American Independence.
