Making Historical Inquiry Work: Practical Resources and Strategies to Enact the C3 Framework

This interactive session will focus on how teachers can use disciplinary scaffolds, engagement strategies, and differentiation techniques to support diverse learning needs of students in the historical inquiry process. This session will draw heavily on the presenter’s experiences working behind the scenes as a graduate research assistant on the New York Toolkit where he was part of a state-wide effort to create and pilot 84 C3 Framework-aligned inquiries.
