Africa Institute for Educators University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana June 27 - June 30, 2010 Topics: African history, languages, cultures, development, and more! Who Should Attend: K-12 teachers, pre-service teachers, and community college instructors. Registration Fee: $50. (With support of the U.S. Department of Education Title VI, we are able to provide the workshop for only the $50 registration fee, which is non-refundable and must be submitted along with the application. A reader and some of the meals will be provided. ) Free housing is provided. Credit: Workshop participants will receive at minimum 25 CPDUs for Illinois teachers; 2.5 CEUs for all others (1 CEU equals 10 contact hours).
