Summer Workshop: Inventing America: Lowell and the Industrial Revolution

INVENTING AMERICA: LOWELL AND THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION The Tsongas Industrial History Center has received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to present 3 one week, residential summer workshops for K-12 educators, titled “Lowell and the Industrial Revolution.” They take place June 22-27; July 13-18; and July 27-August 1, 2008 and $500 stipends are available. The workshops combine scholarly presentations with onsite investigations of the canals, mills, worker housing, and exhibits of Lowell National Historical Park, Old Sturbridge Village, and Walden Pond in Concord, MA.
