MCSS Guidelines, Terms & Conditions
The Massachusetts Council for the Social Studies’ (MCSS) NEWSLINE Newsletter is seeking author submissions of the following kinds:
- Substantive articles in social studies, including but not limited to anthropology, civics, economics, geography, government, history, law, philosophy, political science, psychology, sociology, and other related humanities and social studies;
- Insights, viewpoints, and opinions of current issues related to social studies, including but not limited to curriculum, instruction, and assessment;
- Research findings, theories, or interpretations in social studies education in both content and pedagogy;
- Best practices of instruction in the social studies classroom
MCSS reserves the right to not publish submission if it does not meet the content or technical specifications as outlined in the guidelines. It is at the discretion of the editor to edit for style (including grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.) but changes in content are made with the author’s consent. Please include proper APA citation when warranted.
By submitting an article, the author agrees that the submission has not been published elsewhere (in print, online/blog, etc.), and and takes full responsibility of any risk of therein.
