For over fifty years, the MCSS has been the professional home for social studies teachers and leaders across the state. We work in collaboration with districts, non-profits and the MA Department of Education to:
- deliver meaningful, quality professional development – online and in-person workshops, courses, and conferences
- provide access to education resources to social studies educators for classroom use
- advocate for social studies education and educators through legislation and policy
As we seek to expand district and board membership, especially from urban and rural districts, consider joining our team.
